Among 185 applicants from all over the world, WriteBetter was one of the start-ups that will receive $15,000 USD to develop its project and validate it in the Chilean market. The programme has a duration of 4 months in which various activities will be carried out to promote the development of the start-up, including weekly lessons related to economic and business issues, pitch trainings, mentoring with expert mentors in the education industry, and so on.

The S Factory is a pre-acceleration programme specially designed for women entrepreneurs in the technological field. The selected startups are mostly Chilean (50%), 15% from other Latin American countries and 35% from the rest of the world. As for the industries, the selected startups are mainly focused on IT Software and Biotechnology and Health. 46% have a Business to Business (B2B) structure and 39% have a Business to Client (B2C) structure. WriteBetter has both B2B and B2C structure, and belongs to EdTech (technology in education).

Our dream is to grow in this pre-acceleration program supported by Start-up Chile (Corfo). We hope to revolutionize the education industry, and change the paradigm of English teaching in Chile and around the world.
